The Order of the Precious Blood
The Order of the Precious Blood is an award of merit for those who have promoted the common good in an extraordinary way. Awarding meritorious service is a long tradition in the Old Roman Catholic Church, and the Order of the Precious Blood is the second highest order of the Church. It is awarded by the Bishop at his choice to those who have served him or the common good, and recipients need not be members of the Old Roman Catholic Church. It is in one class with a neck decoration and certificate accompanies the award.
